Merry Christmas a little early

After getting 12 inches of snow yesterday, we decided to give Jeff his Christmas present a little early. Ryan was anxious to try it out and Adam's hands were freezing. Why don't they make good gloves for little people?

ICE

I found this fun place to go while in Florida. It was called ICE. It was a room made into a winter wonderland. Everything was made of ice. They had even built ice slides for the kids to go down. Well, I guess Jeff and I went too. It was only 9 degrees in there so luckily they provided parkas. We all looked like Eskimos.

Blog #3

A few more pictures from Disneyland

Last night we had our annual Halloween cookie decorating. We always have to take a picture. We were only missing a few, what a crew!!

Well, after a long wait, the deck is finally finished. We love it already!!!

Blog #2

We just had a great trip to Disneyland. Ryan was able to take his good friends with him, aka "The Brotherhood" and Kasey took her friend Kessa. Everyone had such a great time. It's always hard to come back from the happiest place on earth. :)

The Gang on "orange" day.

Adam really wanted to ride this roller coaster, but... he just wasn't quite tall enough. Darn it.

The gang on "red" day.

Adam loved the new Toy Story ride, especially the 3D glasses.

Talk about a slacker! Sorry everyone. My computer is still having issues with getting pictures from the camera to the computer but we will give it a shot. Wow! I can't believe it's the last week of October. Let's see what's been going on? Jacob finished his fall soccer season and then started flag football. This weekend he started basketball. Ryan had a great football season. We can't believe that is over already. He keeps talking about what he is going to do now. He also went to Homecoming and recently got asked to Preference. He gave his answer by carving the word "yes" in a pumpkin and then leaving it on her front porch.

Jacob playing goalie, he did awesome!

How Does Your Garden Grow?

We just can't believe how well our garden did this year. We think it's Grandpa's magic box. He must have sprinkled some magic when he built the garden box. Adam loves to go out and pick the tomatoes. Today he was so funny when we found the zucchini. He said, "Mom that is a huge one!"

19 Years Later

Well after 19 years here we are again standing outside the St. George Temple, except this time with our 4 prize possessions.

First Day of School

Okay I know this is a little late but once again something has been up with my computer. Everybody kind of had a little different reaction to the first day of school.

STAGE 1

Well here we go! The deck project has begun. Saturday the deck came down.

More Summer Fun

Wow I can't believe that we are in the last few weeks of summer. Life has been busy around our house with gymnastics, football and Jeff's video game. We didn't get to take a summer vacation this year so the kids are making their own fun. Adam's favorite thing to do is jump on the trampoline. I know Grandma will love that. :) We did take the kids to Salt Lake last weekend. That was super fun! We stayed at Little America so we could be close to Jeff's work. We did a lot of swimming, bowling, putt-putt, a tour of the conference center, walked thru temple square, and tried out some new restaurants. Jacob and Kasey got to officially test the new video game. They both did a great job. Jacob was pretty excited that he was able to beat the levels before the other kids.

Summer Time

Wow, a long time since I last blogged. Thought I would share some of our summer so far. Jacob has been excited to learn how to mow the grass so Jeff let him take charge. (Ryan is excited about that too). I can't believe he is that old to start doing that. Jacob was also baptized. We are so proud of him. Thanks for all those that joined us. He also went to his first scout camp today. Kasey's gymnastics team competed at the Summer Games in Cedar City. She did awesome. I have decided I want to have her muscles. Kasey always likes to get a creamy after gymnastics. One day she bought Adam one too. He was pretty proud of himself. Every once in awhile, Ryan and Jeff get into their "who is stronger" mode. I'm not sure if it is for Ryan to see if he can beat his dad yet or Jeff just trying to make sure that he stays young. Any case I caught that on tape. Hope everyone is having a great summer. We are looking forward to celebrating the 4th of July, one of our favorite holidays.

Long Overdue

Well since my last post was when we didn't know whether the Butlers were having a girl or boy, I thought I had better get on it. These are just a few pictures from our trip to Moab. It's taken me awhile to get them posted. On the way down Adam kept looking for "Mack" from Cars, so that's why we took the picture of all the semi-trucks. The hike was gorgeous. The best part was watching the kids go down the slide, especially Adam. He loved it and kept wanting to go again and again. Thank heavens for big brothers.

Well.... here he is :)

I can't believe I'm posting Ryan's prom pictures. Wow, they grow up fast. He looked so handsome and says he had a GREAT time and so much fun. His date's name was Amanda. We thought she looked just like a princess from Disneyland.

I know, he looks really good doesn't he??

The "Brotherhood"

I thought the girls would like to see the back of her hair(especially Morgan). I thought it was so pretty.
