Summer Time

Wow, a long time since I last blogged. Thought I would share some of our summer so far. Jacob has been excited to learn how to mow the grass so Jeff let him take charge. (Ryan is excited about that too). I can't believe he is that old to start doing that. Jacob was also baptized. We are so proud of him. Thanks for all those that joined us. He also went to his first scout camp today. Kasey's gymnastics team competed at the Summer Games in Cedar City. She did awesome. I have decided I want to have her muscles. Kasey always likes to get a creamy after gymnastics. One day she bought Adam one too. He was pretty proud of himself. Every once in awhile, Ryan and Jeff get into their "who is stronger" mode. I'm not sure if it is for Ryan to see if he can beat his dad yet or Jeff just trying to make sure that he stays young. Any case I caught that on tape. Hope everyone is having a great summer. We are looking forward to celebrating the 4th of July, one of our favorite holidays.

Long Overdue

Well since my last post was when we didn't know whether the Butlers were having a girl or boy, I thought I had better get on it. These are just a few pictures from our trip to Moab. It's taken me awhile to get them posted. On the way down Adam kept looking for "Mack" from Cars, so that's why we took the picture of all the semi-trucks. The hike was gorgeous. The best part was watching the kids go down the slide, especially Adam. He loved it and kept wanting to go again and again. Thank heavens for big brothers.

I can't believe I'm posting Ryan's prom pictures. Wow, they grow up fast. He looked so handsome and says he had a GREAT time and so much fun. His date's name was Amanda. We thought she looked just like a princess from Disneyland.

Disney Magic

Well, we had a great time at Disneyland. As you can tell from the pictures and videos, Adam loved pretty much everything he saw. His favorite was the merry-go-round and of course the parade with all of his favorite characters. We said it was a parade made especially for him, Lightening, Buzz, Woody, Nemo, Mator were some that he saw. You can tell in the video with his excited expressions he does he was having such a great time he was beside himself. We got Jacob on Tower of Terror, now his new favorite ride. Ryan was so close to making a million points on the Buzz ride and busy texting his friends while waiting in lines. Kasey just loved riding all the rides and meeting up with some of her friends that happened to be there too. And of course Jeff and I just loved being with the kids. We were excited that Chris was able to join us for a few days too. Grandma and PomPom we missed you.

A True Champion

Kasey had another great meet! She is a true champion. She has had a little bit of a rough road with her knees lately. We found out that she has what they call "Jumper's Knee". Another little issue with her muscles and bones trying to grow. Her first event was floor. She thought she was okay because they weren't hurting as bad but during her event they started to hurt, but she kept on going. As you can see from the other events she has her cute little knee braces on. Doesn't she look tough? She did so good. She received FIVE medals and placed 4th in the overall up against 15 other girls. Once again, way to go Kasey!!!! We love you.

Where's Adam?

One day we were looking for Adam and Jacob (Buck) noticed that this container was moving. Sure enough there was Adam. It was pretty funny. Then he discovered that he can crawl under the table and hide under there.
